At around 7:40 a.m. today (July 30), a fire broke out in an SUV driving near the entry ramp toward Suwon at the Bisan Underpass in Bisan-dong, Dongan-gu, Anyang, Gyeonggi Province.

Fire authorities, dispatched to the scene following a witness report stating that "smoke is coming from the vehicle," deployed 10 pieces of equipment and around 30 personnel, extinguishing the fire 17 minutes after receiving the report.

The driver safely evacuated on their own, and no casualties have been reported.

Police and fire authorities believe the fire started from the vehicle's hood and are investigating the exact cause of the fire.
