KOSPI Mixed Near Flat After Plunging for Two Straight Days

The KOSPI, which plunged by more than 1,000 points over the past two consecutive days, is showing mixed trading today (the 30th) as it searches for direction.

As of 9:02 a.m. today (the 30th), the KOSPI stood at 5,596.62, down 66.62 points (1.18%) from the previous day.

However, it later turned upward and is currently trading near the flat line.

The index opened at 5,681.77, up 18.53 points (0.33%) from the previous session, before shifting to a decline and then turning back to an upward trend.

At the same time, the Kosdaq index stood at 652.22, down 10.46 points (1.58%) from the previous day.

The Kosdaq index also subsequently turned upward, showing gains of around 1%.
