Actor Moon Geun-young, once affectionately known as the nation's little sister, has made a surprise marriage announcement.

Yesterday, her agency announced that Moon recently tied the knot with musical actor Jeong Pyeong, who is seven years her senior.

The wedding ceremony was reportedly replaced with a private family dinner.

Writing on social media, Moon shared that she has met someone with whom she wants to walk the path she has always walked alone, and share the worries she used to keep to herself.

She added that she intends to fill the chapters of her future life as a pair rather than alone.

Jeong Pyeong, who has been in a long-term relationship with Moon, debuted in 2007 and has appeared in various plays and musicals such as Aida and Laundry. He also participated in a creative collective led by Moon.
