Actor Hwang Jung-min has denied recent allegations regarding his personal life raised on social media, claiming that the malicious posts were created by a stalking suspect.

Recently, posts surfaced on social media claiming an inappropriate relationship with Hwang, along with alleged text messages and phone call recordings exchanged with him.

In response, Hwang's side stated that the author of the posts is a stalking crime suspect who has continuously harassed Hwang, and that they filed a criminal complaint against the suspect, identified as A, last year.

The court reportedly issued three restraining orders and issued a summary order imposing a fine of 3 million won for stalking charges.

Additional legal action has been warned regarding the social media posts.

According to some media outlets yesterday (July 29), suspect A has also reportedly filed a 200 million won damages lawsuit against Hwang.

A is known to have claimed to have suffered losses after Hwang proposed a business venture and then unilaterally canceled it.
