The National Assembly's Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee is holding a hearing on the Korea Football Association today (July 30).

Former national team coach Hong Myung-bo and former Football Association President Chung Mong-gyu, who sparked controversy during this World Cup, will attend today's hearing as witnesses.

The National Assembly committee is expected to look into the appointment processes of former national team coach Jurgen Klinsmann and former coach Hong Myung-bo, as well as overall allegations of closed-door operations by the association.

Co-Chair Park Ji-sung, who was designated as a reference witness, along with former association board member Lee Im-saeng and former vice president Park Hang-seo, who were designated as witnesses, will not attend.
