South Korean national football team defender Seol Young-woo started and recorded his first assist of the season, helping Serbian professional football club Red Star Belgrade (Crvena Zvezda) advance to the third qualifying round of the 2026-2027 UEFA Champions League (UCL).

Zvezda secured a 5-0 victory against Larne FC (Northern Ireland) in the second leg of the 2026-2027 UCL second qualifying round held today (the 30th) at the Rajko Mitic Stadium in Belgrade, Serbia.

Having won the first away leg 4-0, Zvezda defeated Larne FC 9-0 on aggregate across the two legs to secure their ticket to the third qualifying round.

In the third qualifying round, Zvezda will face Hapoel Be'er Sheva FC (Israel) for a spot in the UCL playoffs.

Playing as the right fullback in a 4-3-2-1 formation, Seol started the match and played 70 minutes until he was substituted for Nikola Stankovic in the 25th minute of the second half, contributing an assist to his team's sweeping victory.

Zvezda opened the scoring just three minutes into the match with Aleksandar Katai's winning goal, followed by an additional goal from Marko Arnautovic in stoppage time of the first half, ending the first half with a 2-0 lead.

Zvezda extended their lead to 3-0 in the 4th minute of the second half with a sealing goal from Loizos Loizou. In the 15th minute of the second half, Seol penetrated the right side of the penalty area and delivered a precise pass toward Arnautovic, who was rushing toward the front of the goal.

Arnautovic pushed it in with his left foot to complete his multi-goal match, while Seol completed his first assist of the season.

Zvezda put the finishing touch on their 5-0 routing with a final goal by Osman Bukari in the 34th minute of the second half.
