Ahead of the national convention on August 17, the candidates for the Democratic Party's party leader held their first TV debate today (29th).

Candidate No. 1 Song Young-gil, Candidate No. 2 Jung Cheong-rae, and Candidate No. 3 Kim Min-seok discussed major pending issues, including the Shincheonji religious group's alleged intervention in the party convention and prosecution reform.
