Ahead of the national convention on August 17, candidates for the leadership of the Democratic Party of Korea held their first TV debate today (the 29th).

Candidate No. 1 Song Young-gil, Candidate No. 2 Jung Cheong-rae, and Candidate No. 3 Kim Min-seok discussed major issues, including Shincheonji's alleged intervention in the party convention and prosecution reform.
