Ahead of the party convention scheduled for August 17, the candidates for the leadership of the Democratic Party of Korea held their first TV debate today (July 29).

Candidate No. 1 Song Young-gil, Candidate No. 2 Jung Chung-rae, and Candidate No. 3 Kim Min-seok discussed major issues, including Shincheonji's alleged intervention in party conventions and prosecution reform.
