National basketball team player Choi Jun-yong has announced his challenge to the U.S. stage at the age of 32.

Stating that he wants to leave no regrets even if he fails, he threw his hat into the ring with the resolution of "heading barefoot into the ground."

Choi revealed that his childhood dream was the reason he chose to take on the U.S. stage at 32.

[Choi Jun-yong / National Basketball Team Player: I've always had the dream (of entering the NBA) since elementary school. No one has gone (abroad) at this age. So, I think I am the earliest.]

He plans to first knock on the door of the NBA G League, the minor league.

[Choi Jun-yong / National Basketball Team Player: I am truly going to head bare-ground into it. By handing out 'Choi Jun-yong flyers' where no one knows me, (I want to know) how far a person like me can go based on basketball skills.]

He expressed his bold aspirations with his trademark wit.

[Choi Jun-yong / National Basketball Team Player: My dream is to return wearing an NBA uniform after signing a 30 billion won contract. I will push my limits to the utmost and return after failing coolly, just like 'Choi Jun-yong'. Because that failure itself will be a huge success for me.]
