Professional baseball team kt wiz starting third baseman Huh Kyoung-min has been taken to the hospital after sustaining a facial injury during a game.

During the 2026 professional baseball game against the NC Dinos held at Changwon NC Park, Huh stepped up to the plate at the top of the 4th inning on the 29th and collapsed after being hit in the facial area by a pitch thrown by opposing starting pitcher Curtis Taylor.

Although Huh was wearing a face-guard helmet, he was unable to get up from the impact and was ultimately transported to a nearby hospital via an ambulance.

Taylor, who threw the high-speed pitch toward the face, was ejected for a headshot in accordance with KBO League regulations.
