An initiative is underway to re-evaluate promising public suggestions that were previously not adopted on the e-People portal to develop them into actual policies.

The Anti-Corruption & Civil Rights Commission announced today (the 29th) that it has launched the operation of the "Public Participation Policy-making System" (www.withpeople.go.kr) for this purpose.

The system will identify suggestions that were not initially adopted as policies, introduce them, and conduct surveys and discussions regarding them.

The official name of the system will be determined later through a vote on the website.

"Even among the proposals that were not adopted [through e-People], there are many opinions that hold policy value necessary for the daily lives of the public," said ACRC Chairperson Jeong Il-yeon. "We will strive to ensure that the voices of the citizens, who are the sovereign people, are reflected more heavily in state administration."
