In mid-summer, July, the areas around the trails of Naejangsan National Park in Jeongeup, Jeollabuk-do, are being colored by the graceful appearances of various wild mushrooms.

The Naejangsan National Park Office announced today (July 29) that various wild mushrooms, such as the veiled lady mushroom and Caesar's mushroom, are being discovered one after another near the trails.

The park explained, "The observation of such diverse mushroom species around the trails serves as an indicator that the local forest paths are managed in a nature-friendly and healthy manner."

However, as it is difficult to clearly distinguish between edible and poisonous mushrooms based on appearance alone, the park urged visitors to refrain from entering unauthorized side paths and to avoid harvesting mushrooms to prevent safety accidents.
