Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is visiting the United States, and U.S. President Donald Trump will discuss strategies to achieve victory in the war and build lasting peace during their summit scheduled for the 28th (local time), the Times of Israel reported, citing an official from the Prime Minister's Office.

An official from the Israeli Prime Minister's Office stated, "Prime Minister Netanyahu is visiting the White House at the invitation of President Trump," adding, "It is hard to find an alliance that meets so frequently and has achieved so much in such a short period of time."

The official continued, "President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu are scheduled to discuss critical issues," and explained, "We will seek ways to win the war and establish lasting peace by leveraging our strong alliance."

The United States and Israel launched a war against Iran on February 28, displaying close coordination by conducting joint operations under the stated goal of regime change in Iran.

However, President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu have experienced several disagreements during discussions over ending the war.

In particular, rumors of discord between the two leaders surfaced as Israel showed an uncooperative stance while Iran proposed a ceasefire in Lebanon as a condition for ending the hostilities.

Meanwhile, Israeli media reported that Prime Minister Netanyahu and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who is also visiting the United States, pushed for a meeting in Washington, but it did not materialize.

Ukraine recently attacked an Iranian merchant ship in the Caspian Sea, drawing strong backlash from Iran.
