The Samsung batting lineup, which was completely shut out and held to just two hits over seven innings in their matchup against Allert last month, showed a completely different face right from the start of today's game on the 28th.

After taking an early 2-run lead with timely hits by Choi Hyoung-woo and Diaz, Lee Jae-hyun launched his 11th three-run arch of the season to complete a big inning early on. Following a full batting rotation, Kim Ji-chan and Koo Ja-wook added timely hits, ultimately driving in 8 runs in the first inning alone to knock Allert out of the game after just one inning.

Bolstered by Kim Do-hwan's home run in the third inning, Samsung leads KIA 10 to 5 as of the fifth inning.

KT, fueled by Kim Hyun-soo's performance—who decorated his milestone 1,300th career run with his 7th home run of the season—along with starting pitcher Ko Young-pyo's scoreless stellar pitching, is maintaining a 5 to 0 lead over NC. Meanwhile, Hanwha is locked in a tight battle with Lotte, led by Chae Eun-sung, who recorded his first hit since returning to the first team after 84 days as a two-run timely single.

LG, where Moon Jeong-bin recorded his first double-digit home run since debut, is tied 3 to 3 with Kiwoom.
