The much-talked-about film HOPE, directed by Na Hong-jin, is primarily set in Haenam County, South Jeolla Province. We met with Chang Mo-chang, an official in the Culture and Arts Division of the Haenam County Office who knows better than anyone else what happened in Haenam before filming began and while it was underway, as well as what Haenam looks like following the recent release of the movie. He noted that even the Haenam County Office only found out what the movie was about after watching it. So, Official Chang, honestly, how did you find the film?
