
Broadcaster Jang Doyoun and actor Moon Sang-min have been selected as the hosts for the opening ceremony of the 22nd Jecheon International Music & Film Festival (JIMFF, Executive Director Jang Hang-jun), which will open on September 3.
Jang Doyoun has established herself as one of Korea's representative MCs, active not only in broadcast programs but also at various awards ceremonies and official events, thanks to her signature witty talk and empathetic hosting style that makes guests feel at ease. She has showcased her delightful yet delicate hosting skills across entertainment, talk, and storytelling programs such as the web variety show "Salon Drip", MBC's "Radio Star", KBS2's "Secret of the Celebrity Soldier", SBS's "Tails of Tales", tvN's "Six Singles Under One Roof", and ENA's "Director's Arena". She continues her active streak by winning the Entertainer of the Year Award at the 2025 MBC Entertainment Awards.
Returning to host the Jecheon International Music & Film Festival opening ceremony for the second consecutive year, Jang Doyoun shared her thoughts, saying, "I remember laughing much more than I expected while hosting the opening ceremony last year with Executive Director Jang Hang-jun in Jecheon. I am glad to see they called me back again this year."
Moon Sang-min, who will be hosting an opening ceremony for the first time, expressed his ambition, stating, "It is an honor to be able to join the many people who love film and music. I will do my best to show great chemistry with senior Jang Doyoun."
Moon Sang-min is a rising actor building his own filmography across various genres. After leaving a strong impression in the role of Grand Prince Seongnam in tvN's "Under the Queen's Umbrella" (2022), he appeared in Tving's original "Duty After School" (2023), tvN's "Wedding Impossible" (2024), and Coupang Play's series "Cinderella at 2 AM" (2024), showcasing his broad charm spanning youth, romance, and genre works. Recently, in KBS2's "To My Beloved Thief" (2026), he received favorable reviews for his acting across romance, comedy, and action as Grand Prince Dowol "Lee Yeol", and showed a new side of himself on the screen through the Netflix film "Pavane" (2026). He won the Best New Actor in TV category at the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards for "Under the Queen's Umbrella" and the Best New Actor award at the 46th Golden Cinematography Awards for "Pavane."
Executive Director Jang Hang-jun stated, "With actor Moon Sang-min joining Jang Doyoun's proven hosting skills, I expect this year's opening ceremony to be an even more entertaining time."
The 22nd Jecheon International Music & Film Festival will be held for six days from September 3 to 8 across the Jecheon area.
