Ulsan's Lee Dong-kyung, Who Defeated Seoul, Named Round 20 MVP for Second Time This Season

Ulsan HD forward Lee Dong-kyung, who helped defeat K League 1 leaders FC Seoul with his first multiple-offensive-point match of the season (one goal and one assist), has been named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) for Round 20.

The Korea Professional Football League announced today that Lee was selected as the Round 20 MVP for leading Ulsan to a 3-1 victory over Seoul with his one-goal, one-assist performance at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on the 26th.

This is Lee's second time being selected as the Round MVP this season, following Round 3.

Against Seoul, Lee assisted ERIC's opening goal with an accurate Cross from the right side of the penalty area in the 5th minute of the first half, and then scored with a left-footed shot after receiving a pass from ERIC in the 13th minute of the first half, achieving multiple offensive points.

The FC Anyang vs. Gangwon FC match (Anyang's 2-1 victory) was selected as the Best Match of K League 1 Round 20, and Anyang was named the Best Team for Round 20.

The K League 1 Round 20 Best XI features Lee Geon-hee (Gimcheon), El Kerano (Anyang), Gytis (Jeonbuk) (FW), Yukic (Anyang), Knezevic (Anyang), Oh Jae-hyuk (Jeju), Lee Dong-kyung (Ulsan) (MF), Kim Young-bin (Jeonbuk), Jung Seung-hyun (Ulsan), Kwon Ki-min (Jeju) (DF), and Song Bum-keun (Jeonbuk) (GK).

Meanwhile, Carius (Seoul E-Land) was selected as the MVP for K League 2 Round 19.
