With the release of the film "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" just two days away, it is recording explosive ticket reservation figures.

According to the Korean Film Council's ticket reservation data on the 27th, "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" claimed an overwhelming first place in both categories with a 70.2% reservation rate and 620,000 advance tickets sold. This leaves behind the current box office leader "Hope" (8.5%, 75,000 advance tickets) and "Odyssey," which is scheduled to open on August 5 (12.5%, 110,000 tickets).

The so-called "Tom's Spider-Man" (the "Spider-Man" series starring Tom Holland) has never failed at the box office in South Korea. The first film, "Spider-Man: Homecoming" (2017), drew 7.25 million viewers, the second film, "Spider-Man: Far From Home" (2019), brought in 8.02 million viewers, and the third film, "Spider-Man: No Way Home" (2021), mobilized 7.55 million viewers, all achieving major box office hits exceeding 7 million moviegoers each.

The fourth installment, "Spider-Man: Brand New Day," depicts the journey of Peter Parker, who has been forgotten by everyone and must live alone, as he overcomes a new threat and is reborn as a true hero. Starring Tom Holland and Zendaya, the film attempts another box office myth.

The movie will be released in theaters on the 29th.
