At around 1:10 AM today (July 28), an accident occurred in Bundang-gu, Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, where a taxi crashed into the wall of an officetel building.

The taxi driver, a man in his 70s identified as A, died from the crash.

No passengers were reportedly inside the vehicle at the time of the accident.

Prior to the crash, A's taxi reportedly rear-ended another vehicle on the road before veering toward the building.

Police are currently investigating the exact cause of the accident.
