Police are tracking down a man who broke into a convenience store in the early morning hours, stabbed the clerk, and fled with cash.
According to the Jeonbuk Provincial Police Agency on July 28, a man identified as A entered a convenience store in Wansan-gu, Jeonju, at around 5:00 a.m. the previous day and stabbed the clerk, B.
Suspect A then grabbed the cash from the register and fled outside.
Clerk B is receiving treatment at a hospital, and their life is reportedly not in danger.
Police are tracing the escape route of suspect A based on closed-circuit (CC) TV footage and inquiries.
A police official stated, "As soon as we apprehend the suspect, we plan to investigate the exact amount stolen and the motive behind the crime."
