At around 8:10 PM yesterday (July 26), a collision occurred near an industrial complex three-way intersection in Dongducheon-dong, Dongducheon, Gyeonggi Province, between an SUV driven by a man in his 60s, surnamed A, and a motorcycle ridden by a man in his 20s, surnamed B.

In the accident, B was transported to the hospital in cardiac arrest while receiving CPR, but ultimately passed away.

Police believe that A made an illegal U-turn in a no-U-turn zone, colliding with B's motorcycle, which was driving normally.

Police have booked A on charges of causing death under the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Settlement of Traffic Accidents and are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
