As a heatwave warning was in effect on the 26th, lotuses were in full bloom at Deokjin Park in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province, capturing the attention of tourists.

Citizens and tourists who visited Deokjin Park on the morning of this day spent a pleasant time walking through the park, which was dyed in pale pink.

Despite the sweltering and humid weather, more and more steps gathered at the park as time passed, drawn by the subtle fragrance emitted by the lotuses.

Visitors wearing parasols and sunglasses under the stinging sunlight continuously clicked their camera shutters, capturing precious moments spent with family and lovers on their mobile phones.

Deokjin Park, located in downtown Jeonju, is a popular destination visited by many tourists from late June to early August when the lotuses bloom.

Yeonhwajeong Library, a traditional Korean-style building located in the middle of the park, is so popular that it is called the "library for travel."

In line with the lotus blooming season, Jeonju City is extending the operating hours of Yeonhwajeong Library by two hours until 9:00 PM on weekdays until the 28th of next month.
