Trailing the Kiwoom Heroes 7 to 0, Kim Do-young stepped up as the leadoff hitter in the 4th inning and drove a full-count fastball right down the middle from Kiwoom starting pitcher Kim Yun-ha.

His timing looked a bit late, but the ball kept carrying over the center field wall at Champions Field.

Smashing an arch in three straight games, Kim Do-young claimed the 30-home-run milestone first, surpassing LG's Austin to reclaim sole possession of the home run lead.

Hanwha's new foreign pitcher Zimmerman faced a terrifying crisis in his debut on the Korean stage.

He was struck directly in the back by a bullet-like batted ball from LG's Park Dong-won, plunging Hanwha Life Ballpark into momentary silence.

Incredibly dodging a major injury, Zimmerman wrapped up his first outing by pitching 4 scoreless innings with 3 hits, showcasing a powerful slider, a changeup, and steady control.

Bosto, whom the Samsung Lions signed to a 6-week contract due to Jurado's injury, also raised expectations in his Korean debut by silencing the Doosan lineup with his sharply breaking sweeper through 5 innings.

Doosan ace Kwak Bin pitched a season-high 113 pitches, putting on a dominant, scoreless performance with 8 strikeouts to position himself for his 9th win of the season.
