Around 8:00 AM today (July 26), a six-vehicle chain-collision in Sanggye-dong, Nowon-gu, Seoul, left a total of nine people injured.

It was confirmed that a police patrol car was among the damaged vehicles.

Police believe that a passenger car driven by a woman in her 60s first struck two vehicles, and the impact caused it to subsequently collide with three other vehicles that were waiting at a traffic light.

Police stated that no signs of drunk driving or drug use were found in the driver, identified as A, and plan to investigate the exact cause of the accident based on A's claim that the vehicle suddenly accelerated.
