Three men in their 20s have been referred to prosecutors for cursing at police officers and blocking their path during a protest at the ballot counting station inside the Handball Gymnasium at Seoul Olympic Park.

The Seoul Songpa Police Station announced today that it forwarded the three men in their 20s to prosecutors yesterday (the 24th) on charges of special obstruction of official duties.

They are accused of shouting insults at police officers, calling them "Chinese police," and blocking their way at the protest site at the Handball Gymnasium on June 6.

Previously, the police requested pre-trial detention warrants for all three suspects on charges of special obstruction of official duties.

Following a pre-trial detention hearing on the 21st, the court issued an arrest warrant for only one of them, stating that "considering the seriousness of the crime, there is a risk of flight."
