A fire broke out at a factory in Byeolryang-myeon, Suncheon, South Jeolla Province, at around 8:34 a.m. today (July 25).
There have been no casualties resulting from the fire.
The blaze was completely extinguished 28 minutes later at 9:02 a.m., leaving parts of the factory interior and raw materials burned.
Fire authorities believe spontaneous combustion occurred in rubber additives (MBS) stored in a hot and humid environment, and are currently investigating the exact cause of the fire.
