Saudi Arabia's Public Transport Authority announced that the Saudi-flagged oil tanker NCC Massa sustained minor hull damage after being attacked while navigating the Red Sea on the 24th local time.

A transport authority official explained, "After confirming the safety of all crew members, the vessel continued its voyage to its scheduled destination, and there were no casualties."

The official criticized the ongoing attacks on commercial vessels in the Red Sea, stating that they violate international laws and conventions guaranteeing maritime navigation safety as well as the security of merchant ships and crews.

However, the official did not mention who was responsible for the attack on the vessel.

Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi rebels blamed Saudi Arabia for the bombing of the Sanaa airport in Yemen's capital on the 20th and declared the end of a four-year truce.

Following this, the Houthi rebels declared a full maritime blockade against Saudi Arabia as a retaliatory measure, claiming they carried out a military operation targeting two Saudi oil tankers on the 23rd.
