President Lee Jae-myung departs today (July 24) on an 11-day, 7-night overseas tour visiting the United States, three South American nations, and Germany.

First, President Lee will arrive in San Francisco, U.S., to hold meetings with CEOs of big tech companies, including NVIDIA and OpenAI, to discuss new investments and cooperation plans.

Following this, he will attend the AI Summit, where he is scheduled to announce the San Francisco AI Declaration and articulate South Korea's commitment to fostering the AI industry, including the three major megaprojects.

Afterwards, President Lee will visit Brazil, Chile, and Argentina to hold summit talks with the leaders of each country, before heading to Germany to wrap up his trip with a meeting with local Korean compatriots and then begin his journey back home.
