Actor Min Do-hee, a key star of Reply 1994, will reveal for the first time her honest daily life of searching for part-time jobs to make a living amid a prolonged hiatus.
On the upcoming July 26 broadcast of SBS's My Little Old Boy, the daily life of Min Do-hee, who won hearts with her bold Jeolla-do dialect acting in the drama Reply 1994, will be unveiled. Her mother, who looks just like her, will appear in the studio to watch over her daughter.
During the episode, Min Do-hee surprised the MCs by realistically searching for jobs herself on a job search website inside her two-story officetel. As her hiatus has grown longer following the end of projects, she stepped out directly to sustain her livelihood. Despite her past experience working part-time at a cafe for one year and three months, the harsh reality of job hunting evoked sympathy.
Later, actors Kim Sung-kyun (who played Samcheonpo) and Cha Sun-woo (who played Bingsu), her co-stars from Reply 1994, visited Min Do-hee's home, creating a heartwarming atmosphere. Maintaining their friendship steadily even after the drama ended, they shared behind-the-scenes stories, including the much-talked-about kiss scene from back then. In particular, a story about fellow colleague Son Ho-jun shedding tears upon hearing about Min Do-hee's current situation is set to be revealed, raising curiosity.
Meanwhile, Min Do-hee attempted to cook "dolsan mustard kimchi and octopus samhap" herself for her guests using mustard kimchi and rock octopus sent up from her hometown of Yeosu, South Jeolla Province. While she caught attention with her confident preparation skills, she reportedly sent the studio into a sea of laughter with a twist on the dish's visual presentation.
Actor Min Do-hee's candid daily life and the unwavering friendship of the Reply 1994 team will be revealed on My Little Old Boy, airing on Sunday, July 26, at 9 p.m.
