Heartwarming anecdotes about actor Ahn Jae-hyun have been emerging online, drawing widespread attention.

Following a netizen sharing a photo taken with Ahn Jae-hyun about 10 years ago and recalling him as "a celebrity I always want to root for," the comments section was filled with additional personal accounts of meeting him directly or hearing good things from those around him.

Recently, a Threads user wrote, "I posted a sighting of Lim Ji-yeon and Lee Do-hyun at a golf course a few days ago, and seeing it spread like crazy across media outlets and blogs scared me. Then a celebrity I wanted to praise suddenly came to mind. It was Ahn Jae-hyun, whom I saw at my cousin's wedding about 10 years ago."

The author recalled, "Ahn Jae-hyun was at the peak of his popularity back then, but because he was a childhood friend of my cousin, he came all the way to Busan for the wedding. Even when wedding guests asked for photos, he didn't show a single sign of annoyance and smiled while taking pictures with everyone until the end. Seeing his attitude that day made me think he is a good person." The writer added, "He went through some personal matters, but whenever I see him on TV these days, I'm glad. He's a celebrity I always want to support."

As the post spread, more praise for Ahn Jae-hyun followed in the comments.

One netizen wrote, "I've heard so many stories about how good and upright Ahn Jae-hyun's character is. He's a celebrity I genuinely hope succeeds." Another recalled, "I met him as a customer at a store, and rather than just being handsome, he was humble and upright. Even when I asked him for an autograph on a POS receipt, he carefully obliged."

A netizen who has known Ahn Jae-hyun since his modeling days shared, "He would often get in touch whenever he came to Busan before his broadcast debut, and he was really kind even back then. He wasn't as famous as he is now, but his visuals were striking enough that people would turn around just to look at him as he passed by."

Experiences of meeting him on filming sets also emerged. One netizen said, "He was filming a drama in my neighborhood, and local women were going crazy over how amazing he looked in real life." As these good deeds spread, Ahn Jae-hyun's side also reacted with embarrassment. A representative from Ahn Jae-hyun's agency told SBS Entertainment News, "After hearing that such posts had been uploaded, he was quite flustered. Since it happened a long time ago, he doesn't remember every single detail, but he has always thought it natural to take pictures with people when asked at places like wedding ceremonies. He feels rather shy and awkward seeing those actions introduced as heartwarming stories."

Ahn Jae-hyun has been maintaining active promotions through appearances on entertainment programs such as the MBC show I Live Alone.
