Moonshot AI calls it an intelligent agent AI that learns on its own and produces results to achieve goals set by the user, rather than simply answering questions.

The company emphasized that its parameters, which measure the performance of an AI model and represent the total amount of storable knowledge, reach 2.8 trillion, making it one of the largest in the world.

While it still trails U.S. AI models like Claude Fable 5 and GPT 5.6 in comprehensive capabilities such as reasoning and data quality, it has been ranked first in development work performance evaluations.

However, just 48 hours after its release, access issues began early in the morning on the 20th.

When checking Kimi K3 to verify its performance on the 21st, it either failed to answer questions due to too many users or guided users to subscribe for access, but upon entering the subscription menu, it displayed "sold out" and would not proceed further.

Due to a surge in users hitting server limits, new subscription applications for Kimi K3 have been suspended.

The company stated it will resume subscriptions in phases, but has not specified a clear timeline.
