Five days after a fire broke out at the Coupang Logistics Center 32 in Incheon, a fire has occurred at another Coupang logistics center in Incheon.

The fire was self-extinguished using a fire extinguisher, preventing it from spreading into a major blaze.

The fire broke out at around 7:00 a.m. today (the 23rd) in the 6th-floor freezing storage of the Coupang Fulfillment Center 15 located in Hangdong 7-ga, Jemulpo-gu, Incheon.

No one was injured in the fire, but a part of an aerial work platform used in the freezing storage was burned.

Fire authorities were dispatched to the scene and took safety measures after receiving a report from a logistics center official stating, "A fire broke out under a freezing storage rental and was self-extinguished with a fire extinguisher."

Police and fire authorities believe the fire started from the battery of the aerial work platform and plan to investigate the exact cause of the fire and the scale of the damage.
