For those looking to take care of their children's dental health during the summer vacation, please take note of this news.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government is fully implementing the children's dental home doctor program.
The program targets all 580,000 elementary school students in Seoul.
Unlike standard school oral examinations, this program features dentists becoming a child's home doctor to regularly check their oral health and help improve their daily habits.
The basic medical fee requires a co-payment of 4,800 won, and the service can be used once per semester.
Currently, about 1,000 dental clinics and hospitals within the city are participating in the program, and approximately 36,000 elementary school students have completed their examinations so far.
Those who wish to receive treatment can apply in advance through the National Health Insurance Service, make a reservation at a participating dental clinic, and visit.
What if you couldn't apply in advance? No problem.
You can fill out an application form at the medical institution and receive the service.
