A man in his 50s has been arrested in Busan after going on a rampage while firing a nail gun in a residential area. It was confirmed that he had been released from prison just ten days prior.

On the second floor of a residential building in Busan, a man in his 50s, identified as Mr. A, fires nails at responding police officers.

Shortly afterward, a police SWAT team deploys a flashbang to blind Mr. A and successfully subdues him in an instant.

[Police SWAT Team: Got it, got it. Just grab his hands.]

Mr. A began causing a disturbance around 9:00 AM while under the influence of alcohol, hurling insults at residents.

When police arrived following reports, he pulled out a nail gun and continued his rampage.

Creating a disturbance from the second-floor balcony, Mr. A indiscriminately fired nails using the nail gun toward police officers and residents.

After engaging in perilous behavior, such as pointing the nail gun at his own head, Mr. A was finally arrested by the SWAT team about two hours later.

Meanwhile, residents trembled in fear.

[Nearby Resident: You know that equipment they use for interior work that goes 'tatatada'? It was fired toward this area, and nails even flew into my house. The fear was beyond words. I got scared and ran away.]

It was confirmed that Mr. A had been arrested in May of last year for wandering around a public place with a weapon and was subsequently sentenced to prison.

He committed another crime just 10 days after his release.

Police are currently investigating the exact motive behind Mr. A's actions.
