On the 22nd, marking their 4th debut anniversary, NewJeans released a special film titled "2026 Summer of NewJeans" along with group photos through their official YouTube channel and social media. This release of official content featuring MINJI, HAERIN, HYEIN, and HANNI together marks their first in about 1 year and 4 months, leading fans to interpret it as a signal for an actual comeback.

On the other hand, DANIELLE posted a message on her social media the same day saying, "Sometimes life gets blurry. But the light always finds its way back. Keep shining until then. Always thankful," alongside recent photos.

In the photos, DANIELLE is seen looking at the camera in a comfortable outfit featuring a blue zip-up jacket, hot pants, knee-high socks, and a ball cap against the backdrop of a blue lake.

As the post was shared in conjunction with NewJeans' 4th debut anniversary, fans have raised various interpretations that it may be an indirect expression of her current situation.

Currently, the situations of the NewJeans members are sharply divided. After the court issued a ruling acknowledging the validity of the exclusive contract, HANNI, HAERIN, and HYEIN decided to return to ADOR, and MINJI also joined this official content after discussions, effectively rejoining group activities.

Meanwhile, DANIELLE was dismissed from ADOR and the group, and faces a damages lawsuit alongside her family and former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin. In this process, DANIELLE's side previously denied allegations regarding Chinese capital and dual contracts raised during recent court proceedings, calling them "claims that distort the facts."
