A large number of firefighting personnel were dispatched to the vicinity of The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido, Seoul, following a false report of a fire.

According to the Yeongdeungpo Fire Station in Seoul, a report was received at 11:44 AM today (July 22) stating that black smoke was rising near the major shopping mall, The Hyundai Seoul.

The fire department deployed 15 vehicles and 52 personnel to search the area, but no signs of a fire were found, and the situation concluded in about 30 minutes.

The fire authorities explained, "It appears that a citizen mistook a dark cloud in the sky for smoke and reported it."
