The box office success of the film "Hope" is driving soaring popularity for CGV's specialized theaters, SCREENX and 4DX.

According to CGV, "Hope", which was released on the 15th, recorded a seat occupancy rate approaching 40% in both SCREENX and 4DX during its opening week. This figure more than doubles the average seat occupancy rates of this year's releases for each respective format.

The integrated theaters combining SCREENX and 4DX recorded a seat occupancy rate close to 50%, proving high audience preference. The film is also continuing its box office craze by surpassing 2 million moviegoers in just 5 days of release, breaking the record for the fastest 2 million milestone among this year's releases.

In SCREENX, "Hope" delivers an overwhelming sense of space as vast nature and dynamic chase scenes expand across three screens. In particular, the action sequences set against forests and roads fill the field of vision, drawing audiences right into the spaces within the movie.

In 4DX, motion chairs, wind, vibration, and various environmental effects vividly convey the speed and impact of car chasing, horse chasing, and gunfire action. In the integrated theaters combining SCREENX and 4DX, the expanded screens and multi-sensory effects blend together to allow for an even more intense immersive experience.

Audience reactions are also enthusiastic. SCREENX viewers responded with comments such as, "The sense of space in the forest chase scene was overwhelming", "The vast natural scenery unfolded across three screens, providing superb immersion", and "I was able to fully experience the scale of the film." 4DX viewers praised the synergy between the work and the format, stating, "The speed of the car chase scenes was vividly conveyed", "Tension was doubled thanks to the motion chairs and environmental effects", and "It felt so realistic that I'm glad I watched it in a special format."

Boo Kang-il, head of the Content Business Division at CJ 4DPLEX, stated, "Hope maximizes the strengths of SCREENX and 4DX through its vast natural scenery, breathtaking chase sequences, and thrilling action scenes, delivering a differentiated viewing experience to audiences."
