The film "HOPE" (directed by Na Hong-jin) has maintained its position at the top of the box office for 7 consecutive days.

According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network for movie theater admissions on the 22nd, "HOPE" recorded 128,902 viewers on the 21st, securing the No. 1 spot. The cumulative number of viewers reached 2.401626 million.

"HOPE," which surpassed 1 million viewers in 3 days and 2 million in 5 days, seems to be seeing a slight decline in momentum as it enters its second week. It appears that the polarized reviews of the film from the early stages of its release have had some impact. The number of viewers this weekend is expected to be a key indicator for its future box office performance.

"HOPE" tells the story of Beom-seok (Hwang Jung-min), the head of the Hopohang branch located in the Demilitarized Zone, who hears news of a tiger appearing from local youth. As the entire village goes on high alert, he encounters an unbelievable reality. The film stars Hwang Jung-min, Zo In-sung, and Jung Hoyeon.
