Director Yeon Sang-ho's new film "Paradise Lost," scheduled for release this coming October, has been invited to the Special Presentations section of the Toronto International Film Festival.

The Special Presentations section showcases new works and highly anticipated films from world-renowned directors.

Following the screening of "COLONY" at the Cannes Film Festival this past May, Director Yeon will have introduced two of his films to international film festivals within a single year, with the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival in September.

"Paradise Lost" tells the story of what happens when a missing son, Seon-woo, returns home after nine years.

The film depicts the story of a mother, So-young, who falls into a dark abyss as she struggles between her virtual son, created through AI, and the real son who has returned as a stranger after nine years.
