A QM6 passenger car driven by a man in his 70s crashed into a utility pole in Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon-do, at approximately 9:20 p.m. yesterday (July 21).

The driver was transported to a hospital in a state of cardiac arrest and is currently receiving treatment.

The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
