The KIA lineup, ranked first in home runs, was on fire from the start.

Trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the first inning, Castro hit a solo home run to immediately level the score. Following an opponent's error that created a one-out, runners-on-first-and-third situation, Han Jun-su blasted a go-ahead three-run homer over the right-field fence, sending the home fans into a frenzy.

In the second inning, Park Jae-hyun hit his 10th home run of the season, a two-run shot, to seal the victory. KIA defeated Hanwha 7-3 to extend their winning streak to four games.

NC defeated LG, led by a game-winning home run from Kim Hwi-jip.

With the score tied at 5-5 in the bottom of the seventh inning and a runner on first with two outs, Kim Hwi-jip stepped up to the plate and lifted an inside changeup over the left-field fence for a two-run homer.

The bullpen held the lead by allowing only one run over four innings, and NC defeated LG 7-5 to snap a three-game losing streak.

LG has now fallen into a six-game losing skid.

Lotte, which turned the game around by scoring four runs on five consecutive hits with two outs in the bottom of the sixth inning while trailing 1-0, defeated SSG 6-2. Samsung, led by a go-ahead solo home run from EJAE, who returned to the first team for the first time in 38 days, beat Kiwoom 8-6 to continue their run at the top of the standings.

In Suwon, where a fierce battle lasted until nearly midnight—including a 77-minute rain delay—KT and Doosan ended in a 2-2 draw.
