LIM YOUNGWOONG, Roy Kim, and Nucksal have unveiled their unreleased tracks for the first time.
On the July 21 broadcast of the SBS program "High Valley, Top Hero," the members of the "High Valley Bachelors" were seen sharing their musical concerns.
During the broadcast, Kwak Beom looked at the members and remarked, "This is a gathering of incredible people." The group included "Mr. Trot" winner LIM YOUNGWOONG, "Superstar K" winner Roy Kim, and "Show Me The Money" runner-up Nucksal, bringing together some of the most impressive musical talents in one place.
Nucksal asked Roy Kim about the source of his inspiration for songwriting. Roy Kim replied, "I record every idea that I think is clever and smart every day. Then, the lyrics and melody come out almost simultaneously, and I spend months revising the lyrics afterward. The melody usually comes first."
Upon hearing this, Nucksal expressed his envy, explaining that he can only write a melody after he has written the lyrics first. LIM YOUNGWOONG agreed, and the three continued to share their musical struggles while mentioning their respective unreleased songs.
Watching this, Heo Kyung-hwan and Kwak Beom asked them to reveal one unreleased song each, and Roy Kim was the first to share his. His track, titled "The Reason I Like Being Alone," captivated the listeners with its signature Roy Kim ballad style.
Nucksal's track quickly turned the atmosphere into a party. Following this, LIM YOUNGWOONG, looking nervous, explained his own song.
He said, "It is not about rejecting someone, it is not 'some,' and I did not approach them either. But I am scared and try to distance myself, yet my heart keeps going back to them. I captured that situation in the lyrics." He added, "I have been into Latin pop lately, and there are a lot of 'to' sounds in the lyrics. It was fun to connect that to the lyrics, so I titled the unreleased song 'Toto'," drawing significant attention.
