Police are investigating an incident in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, where a car driven by a woman in her 50s struck two pedestrians.
At approximately 12:40 p.m. today (July 21), a vehicle driven by a person identified as A struck a parked car and two pedestrians in their 30s walking in an alley in Changgok-dong, Sujeong-gu, Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province.
The two individuals hit by the vehicle sustained injuries, including head trauma, and were taken to a hospital for treatment.
It was reported that during the police investigation, A claimed that the vehicle had experienced sudden unintended acceleration.
The police have secured the vehicle's dashcam footage and are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
