It is a wild raccoon spotted in Seattle, Washington.

The raccoon, named "Gimosi," is believed to be suffering from a rare congenital condition called "short spine syndrome."

Although its spine is shorter than normal, experts explained that its health appears to be in good condition, given that it moves around without significant discomfort.

Videos filmed by residents have gone viral, even spawning various memes.

Animal protection groups have urged people not to make unnecessary contact, as Gimosi does not have major issues with finding food or moving on its own.
