Heavy rain will continue to be concentrated in the central regions today, July 21.

In terms of expected rainfall, Incheon, northern Gyeonggi Province, and northern Gangwon Province are expected to see as much as 150mm or more, while other parts of the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon Province, and the Chungcheong region are forecast to receive around 100mm of heavy rain.

In particular, residents should exercise caution as very intense rain, ranging from 20mm to a maximum of 80mm per hour, is expected to be concentrated between early this morning and the morning hours.

Meanwhile, the southern regions will see frequent lulls in the rain again today.

For the time being, the southern regions will continue to experience heat waves during the day and tropical nights at night.

Looking at the temperatures in detail, tropical nights are expected, with overnight lows remaining above 25°C, mainly in Jeju and the southern regions.

Daytime temperatures are also expected to rise significantly to around 33°C, primarily in the southern regions.

Heavy monsoon rain will continue to be centered in the central regions until tomorrow, and rain is expected to fall and stop repeatedly across the country until Saturday.
