Argentina head coach Lionel Scaloni was overcome with emotion during the press conference following his team's loss to Spain in the World Cup final.

"It will be very difficult to build a team like this again," Scaloni said, before falling silent for a moment, unable to continue.

He then added, "My heart is broken. I am sorry," before leaving the press conference room.

Led by the "god of football" Lionel Messi, Argentina, which had been aiming for back-to-back titles, lost 0-1 to Spain after extra time and finished as the runner-up.
