A report was filed around 8:30 p.m. yesterday (July 18) that a YouTuber in his 50s, identified as A, had ingested poison while live-streaming in Jaeun-myeon, Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do.

Following a report from a viewer who was watching the broadcast, fire authorities arrived at the scene and transported A, who was in cardiac arrest, to a nearby hospital, but he eventually passed away.

The police are currently investigating the exact circumstances surrounding his death.
