A woman in her 50s who had been reported missing for 10 days was found in the mechanical parking tower of the officetel where she resided.

The Seoul Gangseo Police Station discovered the woman, identified as A, on the floor of a mechanical parking tower at an officetel in Hwagok-dong, Gangseo-gu, on the night of July 16.

A, a resident of the building, had been reported missing to the police after losing contact with her family on July 6.

The parking tower in question was out of service due to a malfunction.

It was reported that police discovered the body while searching the interior of the parking facility as part of their investigation into the woman's disappearance.

The police suspect that A entered the non-operational parking tower and fell to the floor, resulting in her death.

The police plan to send the body to the National Forensic Service for an autopsy.
