Traffic has been fully blocked in both directions in the Yongma Tunnel, which connects Myeonmok-dong in Jungnang-gu, Seoul, and Acheon-dong in Guri-si, Gyeonggi-do, due to a vehicle fire.
The fire broke out in a vehicle inside the tunnel at approximately 6:53 a.m. today, leading to the closure of the road.
Jungnang-gu issued an emergency alert to notify the public of the fire and advised drivers to use alternative routes.
Fire authorities have deployed equipment and personnel and are currently working to extinguish the blaze.
